You might remember Nokia's Battery overheating problem with the nokia battery model number BL-5C and how Nokia recalled those batteries and gave out the replacement batteries. Well Nokia has come to another such situation but this time its a battery charger.Nokia has announced to recall 14 million mobile phone chargers through an exchange programme. These chargers are said to be faulty.
So how to get the Nokia Replacement battery charger?
The affected chargers are those manufactured by BYD between June 15, 2009 and August 9, 2009 and with the following model types
- AC -3U
- AC-3E
and those manufactured by BYD between April 13, 2009 and October 25, 2009 and with the following model type
- AC-4U
Nokia has launched a site to check your affected nokia battery charger. You can visit chargerexchange.nokia.com and find out whether your battery charger is affected or not. You can also view this site in Hindi or other langagues
